Ivan Katunar wijnen
In Vrbnik, direct boven de zee gelegen, zijn wijnbouw en wijnproductie al eeuwenlang de belangrijkste activiteit. Wijnhuis Ivan Katunar zet de familietraditie van wijnproductie voort. Vader en zoon, beide genaamd Ivan, hebben ervaring en traditie, kennis en nieuwe technologieën in de wijnproductie samengebracht. De eerste flessen dateren uit 1989, het begin van de commercialisering van de familietraditie. Ivan Katunar zet met zijn familie dit wijnverhaal voort om mensen bewust te maken van het belang van wijn in het dagelijks leven, om het land en de kennis voor toekomstige generaties te behouden. Alle wijngaarden liggen in de velden van Vrbnik en zijn uitermate gunstig voor het verbouwen van wijnstokken en garanderen druiven van hoge kwaliteit.
WIJNHUIS EN KELDER IVAN KATUNAR
Het oudste deel van het huis is gebouwd in 1963 en in 1987 uitgebreid met nog twee verdiepingen. In 2007 is onder het familiehuis een nieuwe kelder gebouwd, uitgerust met roestvrijstalen vaten met het gecontroleerde koelsysteem dat een volledige controle over het wijnproductieproces mogelijk maakt. In 2017 kreeg het Wijnhuis een nieuwe visuele identiteit, met een nieuw proeflokaal, wijnwinkel en productieruimte. Elke generatie draagt bij aan de ontwikkeling van dit "wijnverhaal" met nieuwe ideeën en hard werken. Het wijnhuis Ivan Katunar is een plek waar het hele wijnproductieproces plaatsvindt - van de wijngaard tot aan de tafel!

In Vrbnik, located directly above the sea, viticulture and wine production have been the main activity for centuries. Winery Ivan Katunar continues the family tradition of wine production. Father and son, both named Ivan, have brought together experience and tradition, knowledge and new technologies in wine production. The first bottles date from 1989, the beginning of the commercialization of the family tradition. Ivan Katunar and his family continue this wine story to make people aware of the importance of wine in everyday life, to preserve the land and the knowledge for future generations. All vineyards are located in the fields of Vrbnik and are extremely favorable for growing vines and guarantee high quality grapes.
WINERY AND CELLAR IVAN KATUNAR
The oldest part of the house was built in 1963 and extended with two more floors in 1987. In 2007 a new cellar was built under the family house, equipped with stainless steel vats with the controlled cooling system that allows a complete control over the wine production process. In 2017, the Wijnhuis got a new visual identity, with a new tasting room, wine shop and production area. Each generation contributes to the development of this "wine story" with new ideas and hard work. The winery Ivan Katunar is a place where the entire wine production process takes place - from the vineyard to the table!
