Drivers in Croatia will find out today how much they'll pay at the pump for the next seven days, as the government is set to confirm new fuel prices in a telephonic session. According to N1, the changes are expected to be minor, with only eurodiesel likely to see a slight increase.
The anticipated price for eurodiesel is €1.89 per litre, up by one cent from last week. Petrol should remain at €1.69 per litre, and blue diesel is expected to stay at €1.45. If the government doesn't introduce additional measures, most fuel prices will be unchanged from the previous week.
The decision comes as global oil markets remain volatile. Brent crude was trading around $111 per barrel on Monday, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) stood at approximately $102. Brent reached its highest level since April at the end of October, largely due to concerns over potential supply disruptions from escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Analysts expect continued price swings in the coming days, with market movements depending on developments in the US-Iran conflict, diplomatic efforts to ease tensions, and the outcome of the US elections. Any new attacks on energy infrastructure or key transport routes could push oil prices higher, while progress in negotiations could bring them down.
Final prices will be confirmed after the government's decision later today, and the new rates will apply from Tuesday, 3 November, for one week. For drivers, this means a slight increase at the diesel pump, while petrol prices remain stable for another week.
