The Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) has launched its first national Advent marketing campaign across 11 European markets, while also presenting Croatia's winter offer at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London this week.

At WTM London, which brings together more than 4,000 exhibitors from 180 countries, Croatia is represented by more than 30 domestic co-exhibitors. The delegation is led by Minister of Tourism and Sport Tonči Glavina and HTZ director Kristjan Staničić, who are holding meetings with leading British and global partners including EasyJet Holidays, British Airways, Jet2Holidays and ABTA.

The promotional stand features a new visual identity and multimedia content with John Malkovich, along with a presentation of domestic wines organised in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK). Staničić noted that WTM London enables direct contacts with key partners and opens new possibilities for Croatian destinations, with a particular focus on encouraging travel in the pre-season and post-season through quality offers and an appropriate price-quality ratio.

Alongside the London fair, the first national Advent campaign for Croatia began at the start of November across 11 European markets. The campaign promotes festive and overall winter programmes in Zagreb, Varaždin, Osijek, Opatija and other cities, aiming to strengthen Croatia's position as a year-round destination.

These promotional activities are part of an intensive winter campaign ahead of the next tourist year, with the British market a key focus. The UK is among the most important source markets for Croatian tourism, and the London meetings are designed to secure additional airline capacity and tour operator programmes for the winter months.
